I'm Prajesh Shakya, an independent brand identity designer working with founders who want meaningful, strategic design — not decoration. My practice sits between positioning, typography, and art direction.

§ 02 — Positioning
Strategy, typography, and art direction, in that order. A small practice by design: three to four clients a quarter, each given the attention a studio of ten couldn't. Most of the work is in the thinking; the visual system is the evidence of it.
§ 03 — Services
Three offerings, deliberately narrow. Every engagement starts the same way: with a conversation, not a deck.
A complete visual system built from positioning out. For founders launching something new, or established teams that have outgrown their first brand.
§ 04 — Process
A deliberately slow, deliberately human process. Typical engagement: 10–14 weeks, end to end.
Two weeks of interviews, audits, and conversations with the people closest to the work. Strategy is downstream of listening well.
A written brief that names the audience, the promise, and the tension the brand is willing to hold. Everything visual begins here.
Two to three directions, each a complete world — not a mood. We pick one together and refine until it's the answer, not an option.
Guidelines, templates, and the first round of live applications. You leave with a system your team can actually operate.
A 30-day support window after launch. We're in the room for the first campaigns, the first hires, the first awkward edge cases.
§ 05 — In their words
Prajesh doesn't design logos. He designs businesses, and the identity is the part you can see. Our work sells at a different price point now — and we didn't change anything else.
We interviewed eight studios. Prajesh was the only one who came back with a positioning document before showing a single visual. That's the reason we hired him, and the reason the work landed.
Strategic, calm, and fast without ever feeling rushed. He cared more about our shelf performance than we did — and the numbers showed it.
We look the size we want to be now. That's the whole game when you're a small studio.
